Once upon a time, in the heart of Algeria, there lived two sisters named Aazza and Maazzouza. Aazza was gentle and kind, always helping those around her. Maazzouza, however, was envious of her sister's beauty and grace. One day, their mother fell ill and asked both daughters to go fetch water from the distant well. Aazza set off at dawn with a song in her heart, while Maazzouza dragged her feet, complaining at every step. At the well, Aazza met an old woman who asked for help. Without hesitation, Aazza helped her draw water and shared her bread. In return, the old woman gave Aazza a blessing that would change her fate forever.
